Over 25 years ago my daughter's dear friend was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Much to her dismay she had to wear a very unattractive medical alert bracelet. I recreated that bracelet for her into a piece of jewelry she was happy to wear... and she did until she lost it 25 years later!
